To further define the approved Board standard for an acceptable fence-finishing scheme, an informal survey was conducted with the Parkside membership. The results of that survey can be found in the minutes from the April 10th , 2001 Board meeting (see Fence Standards).
Below and right are samples of acceptable colors to use in order to renew the natural look of “new cedar.”
Any homeowner building a new fence may use any brand of preservative / stain to maintain the natural look of this new cedar for as long as possible.
